Rooi Els is a registered Conservancy in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom.
This is the place to enjoy breathtaking natural beauty and what Nature has to offer.
Activities include birding, whale watching (June – December), swimming, surfing, walking, hiking, collecting rock mussels,
fishing and crayfishing (in season and with a permit).
Then there is just relaxing, drinking in the marvellous views, and star-gazing at night. No commercial activities are provided in the village.
For that you will have to venture out a little further into the surrounding area.
